Guarana originates from the seeds of the Guarana-plant. The effect is comparable to caffeine, however, there are a few important differences. Firstly, Guarana is absorbed slower by the body and the effects will emerge slower. This also means that the effects and energy will be sustained longer. A big advantage of this is that a possible crash of the fast-functioning caffeine is avoided.
